傑佛森考慮過回籃網隊(Jefferson Considered Returning To Nets)

李察‧傑佛森暑假作為一個自由球員曾考慮回到籃網隊，但該球團沒有意願。
"那裡曾是我的家，我重視他們並且想要幫忙回到像過去十年那樣、我們已經很習慣的模
式" 傑佛森說。"而那卻是他們不再感興趣了的。"
傑佛森五年五千萬的合約對籃網來說是太多了。於是他與馬刺隊再簽下四年、三千八百九
十萬鎂的合約。
籃網隊則是簽了Travis Outlaw在今年的非賽期。
"失望溢於言表" 傑佛森這麼說。
"你知道的、他們正在走另外一條路。更有趣的是，在我尊重他們的決定這個意義下。我
想我將會留在全聯盟最好的球隊之一，並且帶有一份[不錯的]合約。
Richard Jefferson considered returning to the Nets this past summer as a free
agent, but the team wasn't interested.
"Having roots there, just respecting the organization and wanting to help
bring them back to a level in which they had been accustomed to for most of
the [last] decade, I explored that," Jefferson said. "That was something they
really weren't interested in."
The five-year, $50 million package Jefferson's agent sought was too much. He
eventually re-signed with San Antonio for four years and $38.9 million.
New Jersey signed Travis Outlaw this offseason.
"Disappointed was not the word," Jefferson said.
"You understood they were going in a different direction. It was more funny
than anything in the sense that, OK, I respect that if you guys want to move
in a different direction. I think I’ll stay with one of the best teams in
the league and take what they’re offering."
