Owens gone: The Spurs’ roster is back down to 12 after they declined to keep
rookie forward Larry Owens, whose second 10-day contract expired Saturday.
The Spurs have until Feb. 19 to return their roster to the league-minimum 13
players. Owens, meanwhile, has returned to the Development League’s Tulsa
66ers after appearing in seven games with the Spurs.
