CHICAGO (AP)—Spurs coach Gregg Popovich says Tim Duncan(notes) will replace
Yao Ming(notes) in the Western Conference’s starting lineup for Sunday’s
All-Star game in Los Angeles.
Popo說Duncan將代替受傷無法出賽的姚明，出現在洛杉磯西區明星賽的先發名單中。
The 34-year-old Duncan is averaging a career-low 13.4 points and 9.2
rebounds, but was picked as a reserve by the coaches. Now, the longtime San
Antonio star will make his 12th consecutive All-Star start.
以經34歲的TD，目前13.4分、9.2板都是生涯最低。但仍被教練選為剩下那個先發位置。
而現在，這位聖安東尼奧長久以來的明星將持續他連續12年的明星賽先發。
Popovich, who will coach the West, says “it’s totally appropriate and
obvious” that Duncan should start the game at Staples Center.
Popo，這位也將代表西區明星賽的教練表示：Duncan被選為在Staples Center作為先發是
最合適也是最毫無疑問的。

San Antonio (46-9) carried the NBA’s best record into Wednesday night’s
game at Chicago. Guard Manu Ginobili(notes) also is going to Los Angeles to
represent San Antonio.
