Pop says it's impossible to say for sure if Splitter (wrist) will be able to
play Game 2, but calls him "doubtful."

Pop says goals for Game 2 include doing a better job on boards and improving
"really poor" transition defense.

Pop doesn't anticipate changing starting PF for Game 2. Will stick with Boris
Diaw, who played well in Game 1.

還不確定Splitter能不能打，但可能不行……
不過目前Diaw應該還是會先發。

第二戰要改進的點：1.籃板保護 2.transition defense

Now sporting a cast on his sore left wrist, Spurs center Tiago Splitter did
not participate in the team’s Monday practice.

Coach Gregg Popovich is not counting on the second-year center from Brazil to
be available for Game 2 of the first-round playoff series against the Utah
Jazz.

Splitter’s injury officially is listed as a bone bruise.

“They’ve got him in some sort of a cast right now,” Popovich said of
Splitter. “It’s something we won’t be able to tell very honestly until
Wednesday. I’d say he’d probably be doubtful.”

Should Splitter be unavailable, DeJuan Blair would move into the backup
position behind starting center Boris Diaw.

Blair started 62 games at center during the regular season but did not play
in Game 1 until Splitter was ruled out of the second half.

“DeJuan Blair is ready to go,” Popovich said. “He did a good job (Sunday).
He sat for a long time, but he came in and got right to it.”
