When a Spurs player drives the paint in the upcoming Western Conference
finals against Oklahoma City, he will have 274 reasons to beware.

That’s the number of blocked shots Thunder forward Serge Ibaka has registered
this season, including 33 in nine playoff games.

274，是本季Ibaka在本季至今賣出的火鍋數，包括在9場季後賽中也賣了33鍋，想必他
的火鍋口味一定頗受好評 XD

A first-team All-Defensive team selection, Ibaka’s average of 3.65 blocks per
game led the NBA and set a franchise record. The 6-foot-10, 22-year old native
of the Congo is apt to make his presence known early in Game 1 on Sunday.

入選NBA防守第一隊的Ibaka，平均每場賣出3.65火鍋，是本季NBA火鍋榜上第一，也是
近十年來第四高的紀錄(詳見http://goo.gl/g2aY1)，22歲且 6呎10吋的身高，讓這位
來自剛果的球員，準備在禮拜天的第一場比賽利用火鍋讓大家更認識他～

“He’s hard to miss,” Spurs guard Danny Green said. “He’s in there, and he
 lets it be known he’s in there.”

Green說：「要躲過他的鍋，其實不容易，他就是埋伏在禁區等你，且他也會用火鍋讓

Ibaka posted three double-digit block games in the regular season, including a
 club-record 11 on Feb. 19 against Denver, the first player to do that since
Shawn Bradley in 1996-97.

Ibaka本季有過三次的火鍋兩位數記錄，包括2/19在丹佛金塊賣出11鍋的本季記錄，第
一個達到這項紀錄的則是1996-97的Shawn Bradley。

Ibaka’s 241 regular-season swats were just 17 fewer than New Jersey posted
as a team.

The key to neutralizing such an aggressive shot-blocker? Use your head, Green
said.

“You can’t just shoot any old layup,” Green said. “You have to shoot some
floaters. You have to make some drop-offs for bigs. You have to be smart. He’s
 going to block your shot if you go in there soft.”

Green說：「不論是上籃或投籃，都不能用一些循常的老招式，例如可以改用小拋投，
必須用這樣的方式躲過他的封蓋，必須學習聰明應對， 如果你仍是用過往招式應對，

Spurs forward Tim Duncan noted Ibaka wreaks most of his havoc by helping off
of his own man at the rim.

Duncan則認為Ibaka的火鍋來源主要來自他協防隊友的火鍋，而非他自己所守的對手。

“We understand he’s a heck of a weak-side defender and a great shot-blocker,
”Duncan said. “We all have that in the back of our minds. We’ll play it
accordingly.”

Demanding a recount

Spurs coach Gregg Popovich believes the awards voters got it wrong. Point guard
Tony Parker should not have been named to the All-NBA second team, he said.

馬刺教練Popo認為投票選出NBA第一隊的這些投票者，是不是有搞錯什麼? Popo 認為
Parker不應該只是名列第二隊。

“He’s my first-team All-NBA selection, personally,” Popovich said. “I
don’t know anybody at the point that had a better year.”

Popo說：「在我心目中，他是第一隊，我不認為有哪一個控球後衛能在今年有比他更
好的表現」

It marked the second All-NBA honor for Parker, who made the third team in
2008-09.

這已經是Parker第二次入選年度最佳陣容了，上一次是在2008-09年的第三隊。

Joining Parker on this year’s second team, as voted upon by a panel of media
covering the league, was Oklahoma City point guard Russell Westbrook.

年度第二隊另外一位後衛，就是即將面對的對手Russel Westbrook。

“You could argue that Russell Westbrook and Tony very possibly had the best
years at the position,” Popovich said. “Of course, (L.A. Clippers guard)
Chris Paul was the first-team selection. That’s pretty hard to argue with.

「Westbrook跟Parker可能都打出他們生涯最佳表現，當然Chris Paul被選為第一隊
也名符其實，這是很難有太多爭論的」

“It’s tough when there are that many good players.”

Chesapeake Energy Arena, formerly known as the Ford Center, has been the scene
of some of DeJuan Blair’s best games with the Spurs.

Chesapeake Energy Arena球場，過往稱為Ford Center，這也是馬刺Blair's常有最佳
表現的球場。

On Jan. 13, 2010, the undersized center had the best game of his rookie season
 when he scored a season-high 28 points and grabbed 21 rebounds in a 109-108
victory over the Thunder.

在2010/1/13，這位馬刺矮壯中鋒在這個球場繳出28分21籃板表現，也協助馬刺以109
:108驚險拿下在雷霆主場的勝利。

This season, Blair had 22 points and 11 rebounds in a 114-105 victory over
Oklahoma City on March 16.

本季至今，Blair也在3/16號，以22分11籃板表現，再次協助馬刺以114:105贏雷霆。

Blair has fallen out of Popovich’s playing rotation during the playoffs,
logging a total of 49 minutes in six of the eight games, but the coach assured
he is aware of Blair’s success against the Thunder.

雖然Blair在季後賽被Popo幾乎視為冷凍名單，至今只在六場比賽上場總共49分鐘，
但Popo則說：他期待Blair能在雷霆這一輪有所表現。

“Sure,” he said. “You try to think of everything, and we are well aware of
that fact.”

Popo說：「一定的，你會嘗試使用你在這個球場的任何優勢，而我們也都知道Blair
將會有所表現」
