Gregg Popovich has seen the development of Tony Parker over the years from a
raw teenager into one of the top point guards in the NBA.
Knowing how far Parker has come over his 11-season NBA career made his coach
gratified by the announcement Thursday that Parker had been chosen to
second-team All-NBA.
在日前公佈的2011-12賽季最佳陣容中，馬刺控衛托尼-帕克( Tony Parker )入
選了第二陣容。對此，看著帕克由一名小將成長為聯盟頂級控衛之一的馬刺主帥
格雷格-波波維奇(Gregg Popovich)表示，看到這個結果，他感到很欣慰。
“I’m really proud of him,” Popovich said. “That’s a great
accomplishment. He’s my first-team All-NBA selection, personally.”

Parker led the team with an 18.3 point per game scoring average and also
averaged a career-best 7.7 assists as the most vital offensive weapon on the
Spurs this season.

“I thought he had a fantastic year,” Popovich said. “I don’t know anybody
at the point that had a better year.”
