Spurs guard Manu Ginobili offered a public apology to his teammates for
making them work overtime to secure their 104-97 victory over the Utah Jazz
Friday night at AT&T Center.
周五晚上在主場對上爵士，Manu在比賽末段的糗態導致比賽得進入延長這件事，Manu對

The ultra-competitive Ginobili couldn’t explain why he left Utah’s Marvin
Williams open in the corner so he could double-team Jazz center Al Jefferson
near the top of the key with the final seconds ticking down in regulation
time.
熱愛競爭的Manu無法解釋為什麼他當時選擇包夾爵士中鋒Al Jefferson，而放給Marvin
Williams在角落的大空檔，Marvin Williams還了一顆三分球，讓比賽在最後關鍵打入延

Utah, after all, needed a 3-point basket to tie the game.
當時的爵士差三分，拼兩分對爵士沒用，要逼進延長一定要拼三分。
When Jefferson passed out of the double-team to Randy Foye, the ball went
quickly to the unguarded Williams, whose 3-point shot went through the basket
as time expired, the game tied at 90.
當時Al Jefferson在弧頂位置擺脫兩人包夾，並把球傳給45度角的Randy Foye，Randy
Foye連想都沒想再一次將球導給早已站在邊線三分線外等球的Marvin Williams，Manu回

“I don’t know what I was thinking to completely black out,” Ginobili said.
“A terrible mistake. I’m disappointed. I’m sorry I let my teammates down.
We could have lost the game and, hopefully, I don’t do it ever again.

Ginobili atoned in the overtime, hitting a 3-point shot with 2:55 left to
give the Spurs a three-point lead. Still, he couldn’t get over his 2-for-9
shooting and five turnovers.

“Terrible game,” he repeated. “I wasn’t ready. I had no energy. I was

When Utah’s Al Jefferson missed a layup with 2:48 remaining in the first
quarter, Tim Duncan grabbed one of the easiest rebounds of his career.

It was also the 13,100th rebound of a career that began in 1997 and it moved
him into 13th place on the NBA’s all-time rebound list. He passed former
Cole High School star Shaquille O’Neal, who played 18 seasons for the Magic,
Lakers, Heat, Suns, Cavaliers and Celtics.
這已經是Duncan從1997年進入NBA以來，生涯第13100個籃板球，也讓Duncan在NBA歷史總
籃板數排名前進到第13名，他超越了Shaquille O’Neal(生涯打過湖人、魔術、熱火、太

Duncan finished with 16 rebounds, giving him 13,116 for his career. He’ll
have to wait until next season to take aim at the No. 12 spot on the list.
Hakeem Olajuwon had 13,748 in his Hall of Fame career.
本場比賽結束，Duncan總抓下16個籃板，生涯籃板總數來到13116。站在NBA生涯總歷史籃
板數的第12名的，則是Hakeem Olajuwon的13748個籃板。

One of the NBA’s most social media-aware players, Ginobili will become the
first NBA player to participate in reddit’s “Ask Me Anything” (AMA)
discussion group when he hosts an online Q&A session at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
在NBA所有球員中，Manu算是比較能瞭解媒體且跟媒體達成良好溝通交流的一個球員，
Manu也即將成為第一個NBA球員參與「儘管問我吧～」(AMA, Ask Me Anything，由Reddit
網站舉辦)的線上球員球迷互動對談，這個對談將在周日下午4:30開始。
It won’t be Ginobili’s first “Ask Me Anything” session, just his first on
reddit.
這並不是Manu第一次參與這種線上對談，但是第一次參與由Reddit網站舉辦的這種活動。
“I’ve been doing it for a long time, but usually for a smaller target
audience,” he said. “They are people that follow me and they know me
already and they ask me different questions about different stuff.
Manu說：「我已經參與過很長一段時間，但通常面對的是比較小團體的聽眾。他們是我的
球迷，也很瞭解我，他們會問我各式各樣的問題。」
“About reddit, I have no idea how it’s going to be. I started knowing about
the ‘AMAs’ with President Obama this year. I didn’t even know it existed.
Then I heard many other people were starting to do it. I like all this new
websites and social media types of things.”
Manu說：「關於這次在Reddit網站的這個活動，說實在，我不瞭解這將會是什麼情況。我
曾去看過Obama總統在今年也與過這個活動的影片。我甚至不知到有這活動存在過。我聽
