Brett Brown is still in line to replace the departed Mike Budenholzer as the
Spurs’ lead assistant, general manager R.C. Buford said.

GM R.C Buford說 Brett Brown仍然在替補馬刺首席助理教練Mike Budenholzer空位的候
選人名單上.

This conflicts published reports that the Spurs were set to hire Indiana
assistant Jim Boylen for the position.

這項聲明跟之前有關馬刺聘請溜馬助理Jim Boylen來擔任此職位的消息有所出入.

Brown, 52, has also been linked to head coaching openings in Denver,
Philadelphia and Boston. The Nuggets post has since been filled by Brian
Shaw, and Buford indicated Thursday that reports Brown had been offered the
76ers’ job were premature.

52歲的Brown跟在丹佛,費城跟波士頓的總教練空缺都有關聯. 丹佛的位置已被Brian Shaw
給填滿,而Buford周四說有關Brown被76人聘請的報導言之過早.

A member of coach Gregg Popovich’s staff since 2002, Brown began his tenure
in San Antonio as a player development coach before being promoted to the
bench in 2006-07. He has also been the head coach of the Australian national
team, leading the Boomers to a quarterfinals finish at the 2012 London
Olympics.

自從2002年就是教練波波的一員, Brown在馬刺一開始是球員發展教練,一直到06-07年才
被晉級為助理. 他也是澳洲國家隊的總教練,在2012年倫敦奧運上帶領球隊打到 quarter-
finals.

Brown is the longest tenured assistant left on Popovich’s bench since
Budenholzer left to become head coach in Atlanta.

在Budenholzer離開去當老鷹的總教練後,Brown是留在波波底下最長的助理教練.
