題目(source: Hogg數統 5th - The Case of Several Parameters的一個範例)
Let X1 X2...Xn be iid f(x;Θa,Θb)=1/(2*Θb), where x in (Θa-Θb,Θa+Θb)
and 0 otherwise.
而且Θa in R, Θb in R*+(means: for all x in R, x>0)
Y1=min{Xi, i= 1 to n}，Yn=max{Xi, i= 1 to n} (order statistics)
求Y1與Yn的joint pdf
我的想法是先找出Y1跟Yn的pdf，再依據獨立直接把兩個pdf相乘...
不過這樣似乎是錯的，不過不知道錯在哪...
