這題是出自Hogg
3.2.12.
Let X have Poisson distribution with mean 1. Compute, if it exists,
the expected value E(X!).
Ans:
∞ e^(-1) ∞
E(X!)= Σ x!--------- = Σ e^(-1)
x=0 x! x=0
Hence, E(X!) does not exist.
但是如果利用
E(s^X)=e^(s-1)
d d^2 d^x
---E(s^X)=E(X)=1 ;-----E(s^X)=E(X(X-1))=1 ;...Then -----E(s^X)=E(X!)=1
ds ds^2 ds^x
到底是那個地方觀念出錯了呢...煩請指教...
