[報告] Illinois Institute of Technology

I will be there in this fall.

All Ivy schools rejected me.

I guess maybe my TOEFL score is far below the standard.

I just got 89 but majority of Ivy requests 100 of 120.

IIT is known for ID and Architecture cuz a famous modernism designer

whose name is Mies Van Dore taught there (a German) during 1970s.

In EE field, IIT is around 60th~80th in U.S so

I think sbd could know this school.

In U.S, American seemly much more care about your ability, <--A-Q thought, ha

not your "study experience"(I don't know the exactly word to explain this)

Of course, Ivy graduates find job easily, but just at the first time.<--A-Q

After graduating from IIT, if the economic situation is O.K, I could go to

east-coast or west-coast to get another degree. Everything depends on.

If the economy deteriorates, I could try to find a job there directly.

(It's not hard to find a job after graduating

from IIT College of Architecture.)

I will leave Taiwan around 7/23, before leaving, I could go Mainland China

firstly to see my grandpa's tomb and tell him that I will go to U.S.

Oh, why do I choose IIT rather than Pratt Institute or Syracuse University?

Because the tuition and price in Chicago is much cheaper than NYC,

If I cannot study in Columbia University, I don't want to spend too much

money there, Even though SY. U. and Pratt Inst. are also good.

If anyone want to prepare for TOEFL, I have some resources and you can ask me

about it.
