So.025. It has recently been announced that a large shopping center may be
built in your neighborhood. Do you support or oppose this plan? Why? Use
specific reasons and examples to support your recommendation.
I support that a new large shopping center could be built in my neighborhood.
Here are my reasons.
First, I love shopping centers. I like to stroll in a shopping center in my
leisure time. There are all kinds of products, so shopping there is very
exciting. Sometimes, I wouldn't buy anything but just do window-shopping to
see if there is any new or strange stuff. For instance, I would like to find
out if there is something new about some brands, or there is something I like on
sale or getting cheaper. Besides, I can also do excercise there, just by
walking, especially when it is too hot or raining.
Second, it is convenient to buy something in a shopping center. For example,
I can find all kinds of fruit, toilet paper, pens, clothes and furniture. When
I must buy something, I would go to a shopping center. I don't have to go
somewhere else, because it has almost everything I need. Furthermore, other
things such as having a meal or developing pictures, I can also finish them
there.
Finally, I can save much time if there is a shopping center close to my house.
I must go to a shopping center very often, because I buy most things there.
For example, I eat up fruit and milk quickly, so I must replenish them soon.
If there is one nearby, I can get there faster than before. I don't even have
to drive, and I can walk to there when not buying too many things. Thus, I can
save my time, and time is money.
For the above reasons, I agree with having a large shopping center in my
neighborhood.
