1.看到換句話說首先找標點 看成 X, for Y
顯然是因果句型 前方為主要子句,後方為從屬子句 因此it與前一句的主詞一樣
如果看成stonewares and porcelains的同學 表示您把後面的子句當成形容詞子句了
但是for 並不是關代
2.句型.主詞決定了 看原因
原因是it embraces A with B.
A 是 old custom , B 是later religious images and architectural ornament
有新有舊 就是難以確定正確時間的原因
這裡插入一下 IBT只要聽到新舊 請提高注意力 不論是聽力 或是口說
都是重要訊息
這裡也類似iBT 常出現的dating 問題
記得有篇聽力就是提到各種dating方法的問題 用style dating的缺點就是
必須小心 有時包含了不同時其的風格的作品難以界定
