在大多數的題目我會先看答案選項的[大意]
再看文章
但是請大家變通一下
當你看到像下面這

想當然四個選項有三個是陷阱阿
所以不太值得先看選項以免被誤導
反之如果是except 題 三個是正確的 我就比較喜歡讀選項

的題目都要小心讀清楚
然後要有心理準備 有可能答案是隱藏在反面的內容
例如文章可能先提from the cloud
之後用Unlike , In contrast, However, whereas
等帶出 charged particles from the ground
又要小心 修飾詞 tream of charged particles
沒有說是正負電
但是如果有指定 正電荷 閱讀時要注意 有錯誤選項會故意寫有關負電荷的敘述
設定正確的關鍵字是定位最需要練習的
這個設錯了 定位就沒有效果

第一句 不用細讀 (要不要細讀 看剛剛問題設定的關鍵字有沒有出現)

這句是陷阱 用來釣喜歡看文章段落頭尾兩具作答的同學
這裡說的是from the cloud 不是問題要問的
第二.三句 極有能出題 why?
因為When 表示一種條件 托福中 原因與條件 是出題的重點區域
這樣一看這個段落就秒殺了
When a stream // comes within 100 meters of
the ground, 有條件句 看結果: it is met by a stream of positively charged particles that comes up
from the ground.(目標出現 在句尾
所以答案應該在下一句
When the negatively and positively charged streams meet,
a complete channel connecting the cloud and the ground is formed.
這就是目標 目標的名詞是我設定的
所以最重要的是動詞 但是要注意 文章中的動詞有可能隱藏在
名詞 形容詞 副詞 中
所以請看

這下我可以看選項了
A.

這個選項是不可能的 因為目標句中沒有enable或inhibit之類的動詞
B. It completes a channel that connects 完全命中
但是把complete ' 剛剛是形容詞 做變換成動詞來用

因果不對 違反第一句 先有electrons from the cloud
接近地面才有電性相反的電荷流

選錯這個選項的同學應該是被

沒有加寬的意思
所以這段就算全部讀起來就是

兩個條件
一個讓步句 翻成中文常會出現 因為 所以
一個因果
所有考點一定在這些點上
不是細節題就亂考 細微的觀念
