if you want to bacome an artist, Paris was not a good place to go;
Paris is THE place to go.

我很疑惑, 一邊說這邊不好不要來

又說這邊THE 來強調該來,

可以請問一下應該怎麼解讀?

B. Paris was the most important place for an artist to study and work
