[其他] 英英字典的解釋?

[horacelin (我需要被認同感)]

為了讓英文進步更快，我決定使用英英字典來查詢生字

發現有時候也會很難了解字典裡的釋義XD

剛剛查了一個字

pedestrian

我想各位強者都知道是「行人」的意思

但我不是強者XD

查了英英字典後 它的解釋是

n. a person travelling on foot especially in the street or other place

used by cars.

我不懂的地方是最後這句used by cars   是想表達甚麼阿@_@

想不通 感覺好多餘

請強者們幫我解惑O_Q

推 newest:那行人穿越道??
