   1.The shopping mall in our neighborhood is___ around the clock all year
     round. (A)open (B)opened (C)opening (D)to open

     答案是A,將B解釋為open動詞加ed變成形容詞,為何不可以?

   2.Frank became rich and famous when he___ 40.
     (A)went (B)came (C)ran (D)turned

     答案是D,但是A也有變成的意思,為何不可?

   3.prove證實為...後面常接to be adj,這個to be該如何解釋?

   4.The singer's performance last night ___ nothing to be desired.
     (A)left (B)seemed (C)included (D)referred

     答案是(A),這是猜對的,但B和D為何不可?

   5.Ted did not get a wink of sleeplast night, so he finds it ___ to
     concentrate on his work.
     (A)hard (B)hardly (C)hardship (D)hardware

     答案是A,B為何不可呢?
