: 疑問：解答上大概是寫 因為修飾語沒有動詞的 所以要從A.B.D裡去找 根據句子再選擇D
: 我的疑問是：這本後面p.259講片語的地方有一句

這是副詞子句省略句,原本這裡是一個完整的子句,只是做了省略
it is wise to cut them in half.
: 這裡前面"When..."的那句也是沒動詞的，但卻是用when
: 所以上面那題選擇，是不是不該用"修飾語沒有動詞"這個理由 把(C) when給刪掉?
: 或是我有什麼觀念上搞混了?

(B)but對等連詞,結構前後並未對等
(C)when後要接子句,但後面缺動詞
(D)through介係詞,語意也合
