Fresh Mornings Introduces Another New Cereal
New York-Fresh Mornings, a subsidiary of Pure Grain Farms, Inc., has just
announced a national distribution date for its newest cereal, Nuttie & Goodie. The product will go on store shelves across the country on February 15, with worldwide distribution expected in early April.
Television and radio marketing campaigns will begin in selected cities
(Los Angeles and Houston) on January 30. Print advertisements are scheduled to appear in magazines and newspapers nationwide soon after that.
This development marks the fourth new product introduced in the
last twelve months for the ten-year old company, other new additions
including Nut popcorn, Wheaty Creamy, and Yummy Oats. Crunchy Meals,
the company's oldest cereal and top seller, had seen 20 percent decrease
in sales over the last two years, prompting Pure Grain Farms president Mary
Roosevelt to call for an expansion of the company's product line.
Nuttie & Goodie was distributed in three test markets (Peoria, Illinois,
Orlando,Florida and Los Angeles) in late November, where it garnered
promising sales.
