可以再多比對知名的報章雜誌 (只需看 “a series of” 部分即可) 進一步確認。

“a series of” 後面的搭配有 “earthquakes”[1]、 “enforcement actions and

  fines”[2]、“dangerous incidents”[3]、“difficulties”[4]、“films”[5]、

“storms”[6]、“photos”[7]。從這些資料可以判斷，“a series of” 與複數名詞

為自然的搭配。
