我比較在意的是 wotc 的回答是否正確

我們翻到 phb 的第 268 頁關於 immediate action 的解釋：

* Once per round : You can take only one immediate action per round,
either an immediate interrupt or an immediate reaction.

該頁很明確的認定了 immediate action 包括了
immediate interrupt 跟 immediate reaction。

關鍵不在於 melee basic attack。

我認為wotc的回答有誤，他忘記了這個 attack 是 immediate interrupt。

另外，as 就是 as ，如果按照你的說法， A as B ，
A 只是跟 B 在某些特性上相同而不是 B 的話，
官方會用 as if ，並且隨後加註，
4 版目前這樣的規則很少出現，
大部分都是 3.5 後期的延伸規則有這樣的用法。

而且，我認為，
就算到最後官方覺得戰士可以因為 shift 了打一下、打不是你的人再打一下，
我也覺得這是個失敗的規則修正，
4 板大部分的地方就是為了要簡化而出發的，
卻只有這個地方特別設例外，我認為大可不必按照這個規則走，
以方便 dm 跟玩家直觀判定比較好。

: 依照這樣的邏輯回到原po的問題中
: (上為Combat Challeng,下為Spitting-Cobra Stance)
: you can make a melee basic attack agains that enemy as an immediate interrupt
: you can make a ranged basic attack as an opportunity action against any enemy
: within 5 squares of you that moves closer to you.
: 那麼,Spitting-Cobra Stance應該也是只要能滿足trigger就能無限次發動才是
