簡單摘要:

1. 文法

   Correct Writing 複習35678章，預習9,10章，。
   開學可能有小考，開學第一周給答案。

2. 文章

   看a)英文發音搭配英文字幕的電影
     b)英文書
     寫四篇(電影+書共四即可)摘要+心得的文章
    (摘要250字，心得300字)，不准看童書

3. 打字

   (請記得練英打，尤其是不會盲打的務必練會)
   三分鐘打170個word

Dear all,

The winter vacation is coming soon. I am sure you are all looking forward to
it.

In the next few weeks, while you are busy with all the things you want to do
during the semester but cannot, please also spend some time (a) studying
grammar and (b) writing essays.

(a) Grammar

Review chapters 3, 5, 6, 7, and 8 in Correct Writing.
Study chapters 9, and 10. (And more, if you like.)
We may have some quizzes on these chapters when the new semester begins.
I will give you the answer key to the exercises the first week of class.

(b) Essays

Watch some films/movies (language and caption in English) and read some books
(written in English). Then write 4 S&R essays (summary, 500 words;
reflection, 300 words).
The 4 can be any sorts of combination you want. For example, 3 films + 1
book, 1 film + 3 books. No children’s books allowed.

(c) Typing

First day of class, you will have a quiz in typing. I will give you 3 minutes
to type at least 170 words. It's a pass or fail quiz, ? points.

If you have any questions about the above, please talk to me in class
tomorrow.
