Information about the hotel can be found here. We negotiated with the hotel
so that we could get affordable prices for everyone who needs accommodation.
Staying in Japan at a really nice business hotel usually costs at least
15,000 yen per night. Don't miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
note: the registration fee applies to both debaters and adjudicators.
Number of Adjudicators
The N-1 rule will be enforced.
Please try to send judges who have a lot of experience in judging asian-style
debate.
Team Cap
Each institution may send a maximum of 3 teams. However, once late
registation starts, the maximum number of teams an institution may send will
be increased to 5. The total team cap is expected to be 50. Slots will be
filled on a first come, first served basis.
Teams must be composed of undergraduate and graduate students.
Composite teams will only be allowed if the university squad just started
debating and does not have enough members. However, there will be an
examination process to determine whether the team is legitimate.
Registration Process
1. During registration period, send us the fee via wire tranfer. The bank
information are as follows:

2. After transfering the fee, e-mail us at neao2008[at]gmail.com, and tell us
your name, institution, and the amount of money you transfered. Attatch a
<i>copy of the wire slip</i> and the <i>registration form</i> to the e-mail
you send. We will <i>not</i> cover transaction costs. <i>Please send one form
per institution.</i>

3. Once we have confirmed your payment, we will e-mail you to notify that
your slot has been confirmed.
