: Effective 18 Sept 2002, FNMOC commenced operation of NOGAPS at a higher
: resolution. The model resolution increased from T159L24 to T239L30, where T
: represents the number of spectral waves the model can resolve and L represents
: the number of vertical levels. Successful parallel-ops testing took place
: during July and August 2002. Testing confirmed the new model resolution provides
: a positive impact on the prediction of low level winds, precipitation, and
: tropical cyclone tracks in the tropics and some positive impact in the

1 or 2.5 degree 指的是每個網格的大小為經(緯)度 1 or 2.5 度
