Take That's Jason Orange has apparently made the switch from music to
TV - and has penned a drama for the small screen.
The 36-year-old has written show called Popstars And Pilots, about a
group of thirty-somethings who live in Notting Hill, London, reports
The Daily Star.
He has written the piece with songwriter Karen Bishko.
The 10-part series features a diverse group of six characters including
songwriter Kate, pop star Gabriel, airline pilot Andy, Gabriel's gay
younger brother Sam and a posh flirt called Daniella.
Both BBC and Channel 4 are in discussions to acquire it, the paper
claims.
A source said: "The show is going to have some serious themes but there
will be plenty of comedy elements too.
"It will take a look at modern city life, interweaving storylines with
songs and contemporary dance."
Jason added: "I am very excited about the whole project."
