Another injury scare for Rafael Nadal has left the defending Wimbledon champion
 worried about his prospects of recovering properly for his quarter-final match
 against Mardy Fish.

在Rafa身上又一個受傷的恐懼，合理地讓這位溫布頓衛冕冠軍擔心自己在1/4決賽對上Fish
時，康復的可能性。


The top seed suffered from severe pain in his left foot, requiring treatment
late in the first set of his fourth round encounter with 2009 US Open champion
Juan Martin Del Potro. Playing with pain throughout the remainder of the
contest, his fate now lies in the lap of the MRI gods, with a scan to reveal
the extent of the problem.

第四輪遭遇09年美網冠軍品超時，第一種子的左腳承受劇烈疼痛，而後在第一盤要求治療
。Rafa在疼痛中完成剩餘的比賽。現在他的命運正躺在磁共振成像（MRI）之神的膝上（也
就是MRI會決定Rafa的命運），掃描結果會顯現問題的嚴重度。

"The point with the deuce, that point give me the set point, I felt terrible.
I asked for the trainer at that moment when the game was done. At that moment,
 I didn't know if I will have the chance to continue playing," he said.

”在deuce之後，我拿到了盤末點，而我的身體感覺很糟糕。那局結束後我請防護員進場，
那時候，我不知道自己是否有機會繼續這場比賽。”Rafa說。

（這段很怪，因為Rafa是在第一盤的搶七前請防護員的。我想他中間省略了一些話，應該
是說他拿到了盤末點但又被品超救回去，然後他請了防護員。）


Nadal described the pain - located on the outside edge of his heel - as
"crushing" and said it affected him mostly when defending his forehand. A
worrying admission given that the forehand is his key weapon.

Rafa形容那種疼痛－－在他的腳後跟的外側邊緣－－就像被輾壓，而且影響他最大的是使
用正拍的時候。這令人擔憂的坦白基於正拍是Rafa主要的武器。


"I'm worried, for sure. I'm going to do the MRI. We'll see what's going on. I
cannot predict the future," he said.

”我很擔心，這是當然的。我要去做磁共振成像，看看到底怎麼了。我無法預測未來會如
何。”Rafa說。


The Spaniard has an unfortunate history of injuries at Grand Slam events. He
suffered severe knee tendinitis that affected his play in his only defeat at
Roland Garros in 2009, and forced him to pull out of Wimbledon just weeks
later. Last year, Nadal had to retire mid-match against Andy Murray in the
quarter-finals of the Australian Open due to a recurrence of the injury,
and at the same stage of the tournament this year he was clearly hampered by
physical problems in a straight-sets loss to David Ferrer.

Rafa在大滿貫賽事中有令人遺憾的受傷歷史。他在09年法網遭受嚴重膝蓋肌腱炎侵襲，以
致於影響比賽，成為他法網中的唯一一敗，並且迫使他放棄幾個星期後的溫布頓。隔年，

Del Potro also suffered his own injury scare, falling awkwardly and appearing
to jar his hip midway through the third set, which required him to leave the
court for treatment. Despite both being below par health-wise, the two fought
out an enthralling contest on Centre Court before Nadal triumphed in four
tight sets.

品超同樣為自己的傷痛所苦，他在第三盤時危險地跌倒且似乎讓他的臀部中間發出碰撞聲
，那讓他被要求離場接受治療。儘管兩人都不如平常的健康狀態，但在Rafa搶下勢均力敵
的第四盤獲勝前，仍打出一場吸引人的比賽。

Nadal was full of praise for his opponent. "I am very happy to be through,
winning against one of the best players of the world. I think was a fantastic
match. Was a very good level of tennis tonight," he said.

Rafa對於自己的對手讚譽有加。”我非常開心能晉級，贏過了世界最好的球員之一。我認
為那是場驚人的比賽，是非常高水準的網球。”他說。


"He is young. He has an unbelievable potential. With this serve, he is always
very competitive in these courts. And for sure he will be one of the favourites
 to win here [in future]. Why not? He has very good serve, very good shots from
 the baseline, and his volley looks good."

”他年輕，有不可思議的潛力。因為他的發球，他在這場地總是非常有競爭力。可以確定
的是，他將成為未來在這裡最有可能奪冠的人選之一。他為什麼不可能？他有非常好的發
球，非常好的底線抽球能力，還有他的上網看起來頗不錯。”

（之前翻譯的那篇，Rafa言論有爭議的那篇，抱歉我翻錯了。Rafa的意思是品超就算因為
受傷休息了很久，回來後還是很有希望奪冠，而不是說在男單世界因傷療養很久後再復出
就沒機會。）


But Del Potro wasn't quite yet up to the task, and Nadal lives to fight another
 day. Wary of his quarter-final opponent - the in-form American Mardy Fish -
the Spaniard simply hopes to be competitive.
"He's playing at a very, very high level. He's a very dangerous player," Nadal
 added. "I need be at my hundred percent. If not, gonna be impossible against
him. So I have to recover."

但品超並沒有徹底完成任務，而Rafa則挺進為他日比賽繼續奮戰。對於1/4決賽的對手很謹
慎－－美國的Fish－－Rafa純粹希望自己能有競爭性。
”他在一個非常非常高的水準，是一位非常危險的球員。”Rafa補充說。”我得在100%的
狀態。如果沒有，將不可能和他對抗。所以我必須康復。”
