SACRAMENTO (TICKER) -- Seattle SuperSonics guard Luke Ridnour left Tuesday's preseason contest against the Sacramento Kings and will not return.
Ridnour was struck in the nose by Kings forward Ron Artest with 6:49 remaining in the opening quarter.
The 26-year-old Ridnour averaged 11.0 points and 5.2 assists in 71 games - 58 starts - last season for the Sonics.
