A Thunderous turnaround: OKC matches last season's win total
ATLANTA — The Thunder's 94-91 win over Atlanta on Monday afternoon at Philips
Arena represented a major milestone.
At the season's halfway point, Oklahoma City is 23-18, which matches last
season's win total.

league's second-youngest team has come in one year.
“That's pretty cool. That's a pretty big turnaround,” said Kevin Durant,

year, we were winning games off offense. We showed flashes of it last year on
defense. This year, we've been consistent on defense.”

last year is the past... We're playing great ball. We're playing great defense.
We're playing together. That's the big thing. We're making strides, getting
better each game.”

“Posting 23 wins last year was not a great record, but we did a lot of good
things, knowing that if we continued to establish good habits that it would
turn around for us,” Brooks said. “We have some good players who work hard,
who are competitive, humble people.
