things. Marko Jaric suggested that there should be less talk about basketball
and more about pride.

Wolves stumbled out of the gate Tuesday in a turnover-filled first quarter
that set the pace for the entire game.

slow the game down, dictate the pace. This is not that type of team."

Coach Randy Wittman gave the team a day off from practice. That gives the
Wolves a practice day today to prepare for Friday's game with Utah, another
fundamentally sound team that plays good defense. Perhaps the day off will
give the players some time to refocus.

"Mentally we are not [going] in the right direction," said Jaric, who talked
after the game about the team needing to find its pride.

"I still believe this team has a lot of qualities, and we can get one of the
last playoff spots. .... We need to find ourselves if we want to go and try

Said Blount: "I just think we need to focus on the little things right now,
coming out and being able to focus on the little things on the floor, the
