Marko Jaric waited more than a year for this.
學友為了今天(不是演唱會)等了超過一年的時間
On Tuesday night, Jaric was in the Timberwolves' starting lineup for the
first time since Feb. 4 2006. This time, he started at shooting guard in
place of Trenton Hassell, who missed the game against the Los Angeles Lakers
because of a sprained left ankle.

Jaric was excited after the morning shootaround.

"It's been a long time," said Jaric, who started the first 46 games of last
season, his first in Minnesota. "I have my chance to hopefully play good,
stay in the lineup, hopefully win games. That's all I care about right now."

Consider Jaric's checklist accomplished. He had 12 points, five assists and
three blocks before fouling out early in the first overtime. And he played
defense as well as he could against Los Angeles' Kobe Bryant.

With 58.7 seconds left in regulation, and the Wolves trailing by four points,
Bryant was called for an offensive foul after he knocked Jaric to the ground
moments after Jaric blocked Bryant's shot.

Then with Minnesota down by one points, the Lakers ran time off the clock and
then got the ball to Kwame Brown, who had his shot down low blocked by Jaric
with 7.9 seconds left.
之後灰狼仍落後1分(就是在騙人布投完三分後)，湖人叫了暫停，且開始搓麻將，最後將球
傳到了Kwame Brown手中，而他就是本日學友火鍋店的第三位顧客，當時還剩下7.9秒
Jaric had a big turnover late in regulation, but with 5.2 seconds remaining,
he was able to get the ball to Ricky Davis, who attacked the basket and was
fouled. Davis tied the score with two free throws with 3.1 seconds left,
sending the game into overtime.
之後學友發生了一個大失誤，被迫讓灰狼採犯規戰術，而被犯規的Smush Parker二罰中一
，還剩下5.2秒，他將球平安無事傳給了今日我最猛的Ricky，而他也不客氣的切入，並且
獲得犯規，最後3.1秒，而他兩罰全進，將比數搬平。
"I'm happy we won," Jaric said. "I think I played OK. There's a lot of things
I can improve on."

Wolves coach Randy Wittman said he decided to start Jaric because of the
veteran's active defense.

Rebounding ups and downs: The Wolves outrebounded the Lakers by 12 one game
after Minnesota set a franchise record for rebounding futility Sunday against
Boston, getting outrebounded by 30 in a double-overtime loss.

這場面對湖人的比賽中灰狼贏了對方12顆籃板，並獲得勝利，而在這之前，灰狼在同樣是2OT
的比賽中整整輸給塞隊30顆籃板，最終輸了球。
Against the Lakers, Kevin Garnett had 17 rebounds, Davis 10 and rookie Craig
Smith 11 off the bench. Davis' offensive rebound and putback with 3.3 seconds
left in the first overtime sent the game into double overtime.
面對湖人時，KG獲得17顆籃板，Davis則抓下10顆，從板凳上來的新秀Smith也貢獻了
11顆籃板球。而Davis在1OT最後3.3秒的一記進攻籃板球補進讓比賽進入2OT。
Against Boston, Garnett was assigned to help guard Paul Pierce along the
perimeter in the overtime periods, and that took him out of rebounding
position. Garnett had just one rebound after the fourth quarter against the
Celtics.
而面對塞隊時，加時賽時，KG被配到去幫忙防守PP，這也讓他離開禁區，最後，他只得
到1籃板，在重要的加時賽裡。
Jaric said the team's struggles on the glass had more to do with hustle than
matchups. "We're missing the will, I think, to get those rebounds," he said
before Tuesday's game.
學友說球隊在場上必須更加奮鬥，"我想，我們缺少了意志去搶下那些關鍵籃板"學友
在星期二的比賽說。
McCants update: Wittman said Rashad McCants suffered no setbacks to his
surgically repaired right knee after playing a season-high 32 minutes at
Boston. It was McCants' 15th game back.

教練在打完和賽隊的比賽後說麥小弟在他動刀修復右腳後並沒有太大的退步，
這場是他本季上場時間新高--32分鐘，這是他回來後的第15場比賽。
Wittman wants McCants to be involved in the offense. He took just two shots
in 32 minutes against Boston and looked tentative.
教練希望他能融入進攻。在32分鐘的戰局裡他只投了2顆球。
"His biggest asset is aggression as a player," Wittman said. "I want to make
sure we get that out of him when he's on the floor."

2-for-4 shooting.
