The Timberwolves are 9-29 this season and president David Kahn is once again
preaching patience with the young squad.
"As painful as this is, there was no way to do this with a quick fix and put
the team into a position to dramatically rise overnight," Kahn said Monday.
"It is really painful to work your way through this process. I'm actually
encouraged that maybe it won't be as painful for as long as I once worried it
would be."
Kahn has been preaching patience since he took the job in 2009. The
Timberwolves went 15-67 in his first year and have just one more victory now
than they did at this time last year.
He sees a team that is "light years ahead" of his first team, one that tied a
franchise record for futility.
Kahn added that he doesn't foresee making any major moves this season.
"Nothing, absolutely nothing, is imminent with our team right now," he said.
"I'm focused on helping the players and coaches turn the corner this month,
or whenever that may be. We're not looking to do anything on a trade basis at
this point."
灰狼隊現在9勝29敗，Kahn還是保持耐心在這個年輕隊伍上，痛苦就像這樣，
