這是Billboard刊載Tori的經紀人發表的公開聲明稿~~~

"After 22 years of being in the shackles of the major label system, Tori has

chosen the path of independence for her next work. As with many of her

contemporaries Tori is devising new and exciting ways of getting her music to

the masses without the boundaries and limitations of the major music

companies."

He continues, "This will commence with a project of new music and visuals

which is being started in the summer and due for release in Spring 2009."

Until then, fans of Amos should be on the lookout for the new graphic novel

Comic Book Tattoo, based on Amos' work, due in July through Image Comics.


所以Tori要離開Epic了!!! 而且這次是走向獨立製作發行~ 不跟主流唱片公司簽約囉~
(從ADP宣傳這麼爛導致賣的也這麼爛就不難見出端倪了)
(甚至之前Original Sinsuality Tour一次出個六套12張的現場演出就讓我懷疑她
 已經在佈局拔腿要跑準備閃人了)

外加先前鼓手Matt Chamberlain在自己的網誌上透露已經和bass手Jon Evans
到Cornwall的Martian錄音室度過了驚人的兩週~
看來新作品的初步錄音已經完成了~ 呵呵.
