in front of somebody/something
c) outside a building, near its entrance:
There was a small garden in front of the house.
It was raining as we parked in front of the hotel.
他很明顯的指出是outside a building
如果說原句會變成Supermarket包含在房子裡成為房子的一部份
那麼這兩句例句會變成garden在house裡?
我們在hotel「裡」停車的時候正在下雨?

in front of 和 in the front of 雖然只差一個定冠詞 the, 但意義完全不同。
in the front of 表示在...的前部, 指在其中。
in front of 表示在...前面, 指在某事物的前面, 但是不在其中。
這邊也明確指出in front of沒有包含的意思，只有in the front of有
故黑板的那個例子應改成
The blackboard is in 「the」 front of the classroom.
而本題答案為b最好的解釋只能從near its entrance這邊來看
一個supermarket不太可能near a house entrance
故選opposite較合理
