Comfort woman, A-Tao Huang was waiting for an apology from Japanese

government till she died.


The comfort woman who first accused Japanese troop of their brutality in

public, A-Tao Huang, has died of septic shock resulted from cardiopulmonary

failure, aged 90. Sixty nine years ago, Huang was cheated into sexual slavery

as a comfort woman for Japanese troop in Southeast Asia by the name of nurse

recruitment during World War II when she was 19 at the time. After she

married a Mainland Chinese soldier, Mr. Liu, she was encouraged by him to

come forward. However, she died on September 1 2011 having never received an

apology from Japan during her lifetime.
