第一句理解對了。

第二句，which 必須指 narrative，所以你的理解反了，應該還原成：
The world is abstracted from the narrative.
世界從敘述中提取而得。或：該敘述抽象地呈現出世界 (whatever that means :)

順便説，這裡使用了 It is ... that 這種所謂 cleft sentence，目的在強調 it is
後面那個元素，但這裡的 from which 用得奇怪，不符合 cleft sentence 的常見情況，
我會改説： it is the narrative that the world is abstracted from.

: （rather的感覺好難翻的貼切...orz）

rather 作為全句的副詞，意思是 on the contrary，很好懂。

: 我是不是哪裡翻不對...因為我好像沒有很懂這句話想表達什麼？　 ＠＿＠
: 還是因為我的質性分析基礎不好...所以沒有了解到這句話的精髓呢？
