酒桶爆裂，八個租住地下室的窮人，慘遭滅頂之災。左鄰右舍搞清楚狀
況後，紛紛拿著鍋碗瓢盆衝出來。有免費的啤酒，怎麼可以不喝？

推 l10nel:倒沒聽過這種主格省略（無論時態），看了一下，敘事者也非
→ l10nel:滿口文法不通的那類人，猜測是無心之誤。
推 spacedunce5:可能因為前面的 has 與 yet 讓文意夠清楚所以就省了？
→ Quasimodo:舉個例："there is no person has a better opinion of
→ Quasimodo:of you than myself..."(可用google找到原文)，其他例子
→ Quasimodo:我還要翻舊筆記，印象中Coleridge跟De Quincey有份…
→ Quasimodo:這種句子會讓人眼皮跳，千萬不要用，還是當成錯誤好。
推 pentimento:限定關代作主詞的省略，文法書上有寫。Q大的例子書上有
→ pentimento:there be + 不定代名詞 後的關代主詞可省略。
→ pentimento:但原文 there be 後面是 a human being這種寫法，我看
→ pentimento:的書上就沒有這樣的情況。個人不敢說是對或錯。
推 l10nel:我也找到文法書記錄這些邊緣用法：
