[英中] 教育理論，杜威和布魯納的一段說法

最近在研究教育理論裡的「發現學習」策略 (discovery learning)

有兩位學者的說法不甚了解。

其中杜威(John Dewey)：

When (an idea) is told,it is,to the one to whom it is told,

another given fact,not an idea.


布魯納(Jerome Bruner)：

Practice in discovery for oneself teaches one to acquire information

in a way that makes that information more readily viable in problem solving.

這兩段的意思不甚明瞭，懇請翻譯。
