非專業 路過 保險也是不熟 所以只能提供一點思考方向...

would...be insured應該是假設法吧
所以這句大概是 若不是有本保單，則會是其他保單保險範圍(的損失或損害)
也就是說 如果損害可由/原該由其他保單保險範圍，則本保單不含之
(為了避免中文的誤會 那個 將 我覺得不要比較好 刪掉也不會文義混淆)
這是為了避免雙重填補 避免要保人/被保險人從保險中得到超過其損害的補償 變成獲利
延伸下來 except後面就是在說
對於超過「如本保單未生效則依據其他保單會給付的金額」的部分 仍在本保單保險範圍
我想應該是說 假設 本保單可以賠到100萬 其他保險會給付50萬 損害有70萬
則本保單在20萬範圍內仍可認為成立生效 這樣的概念

從文句來看 我會覺得一堆逗號後面的 都是修飾/補充plicies的
也就是說最後一句的which也是指保單
呃 不是很確定 不過我看的話 會覺得所謂一個保單已經完成
是指保險事故已經發生 且已依該保單為給付 則其他保單無效/失其效力
這個有可能是在指不同保單cover相同保險事故的情況 同樣是為了避免雙重填補
但參考提單 似乎也有可能是指有複數相同內容保單的情形
淺見給你參考了但沒法給你中文耶
因為我常常要翻的時候覺得自己英文不好中文也不好 整個書到用時方恨少= =
