話說就吉他來說的話，The Edge的"無線循環"吉他(Infinite Guitar)
演奏手法的傳授者(或者說是發明者)是前衛音樂界的大師之一
Michael Brook，魔岩早期有代理他的電影原聲帶，可以很
明顯的聽出吉他演繹的風格。
說實在的要比吉他技巧的話，金屬樂界的速彈派或是藍調界的技巧都要
比 The Edge強的多，但重點不在技巧，而在原創性與風格的塑造。
今天 The Edge將 Michael Brook的風格擴大引用並且成為招牌，我認為
扣除掉 Bono的個人魅力及 Adam & Larry的完美搭配，是 U2能夠成功的
很大原因之一。
這種吉他風格被 U2開始運用是在約書亞樹專輯中，大家可以拿這張專輯
作為一個分水嶺，比較看看吉他演奏上是否有其不同之處。
其實我覺得製作人也有差，不過這話題以後大家可以再討論看看。
