Why Not Utah? Carlos Boozer, who along with Mehmet Okur signed offer sheets Wednesday with the Jazz, spoke to NBA.com about his decision and the events leading up to it.

On Wednesday, July 14, the Jazz signed forwards Carlos Boozer and Mehmet Okur to offer sheets. Under the Collective Bargaining Agreement set forth by the National Basketball Association, the Cleveland Cavaliers and thte Detriot Pistons will have 15 days to match the offers.
