教練表示Giri擁有許多天份, 卻白白浪費掉。

爵士延長O'Connor的合約。

在隊長的人選方面, Sloan做了決定:
他不會指定任何人擔任隊長, 在每場比賽的賽前他會找不同的人去和裁判及
對方的隊長來做溝通。

"I don't know if 'captain' really is that important," Sloan said.

"I've always felt like leadership comes if you're a captain or not.
If you think, 'I didn't get to be captain, now I can't lead,' you're
probably not a leader in the first place."

Besides, Sloan added,
"I'm still the team captain. As far as Larry (Miller) says."

一篇關於D-Will的文章及訪談
D-Will認為自己一直被低估:

"All my life I've been underrated," Williams explained.  "I feel that it's
because I was a team player.  In high school I was always a top forty guy.
I went to ABCD camp, Nike camp and I really didn't get any respect there.
I thought I should have made the All Star game in ABCD, because I was being a
team player.  I was sharing the ball.  A lot of the point guards in my class
were scorers.  They would go out and get twenty points a game, but that was
not going to be me. I would rather go out there and get ten assists than get
twenty points.  That's how it's always been.  My mom taught me that.  As a
point guard, that's your job is to keep all these guys happy.  If I go out
and shoot twenty five times a game then these guys aren't going to be happy."

據JazzFanz上說, D-Will去年也說過類似的話, 然後..
Sloan said: "Can your mom come help coach our team?"
