The second-year guard doesn't turn 20 until next month, but he already has 45
games of NBA experience. Drafted out of Skyline High in Dallas, C.J. - Calvin
Junior - is one of four children of Calvin and Lanis Miles.
這位ＮＢＡ二年級生下個月才滿２０歲，但是他已經有４５場ＮＢＡ比賽的經歷。來自達
拉斯Skyline 高中的Ｃ。Ｊ（Calvin二世）Miles 是 Calvin Miles 和Lanis Miles 的四
個兒子之ㄧ。

   When did you realize you could be an NBA player? 
大哉問：你何時知道自己可以挑戰ＮＢＡ？

   In middle school, I started to realize I could do some things on the
court. My dad saw it first. I was [5-foot-8] in eighth grade, and I walked
into high school 6-2. My dad worked with me, taught me all the fundamentals.
I was playing baseball, too, pitcher and first base, but I stopped. I didn't
wake up on Saturday mornings and think, "I want to play baseball." I'd wake
up and go to the gym.
中學時，我開始了解我能在球場做些貢獻。我爸先發現我的能力。我八年級時就已經有五
呎八吋了，高中時更長到六呎二吋。我爸幫助我，教我所有基本動作。我那時也有玩玩棒
球，我是投手也首一壘，但是後來我就沒打了。我禮拜五沒睡醒時還做白日夢：我想打棒
球。可是我醒來時就去體育館練籃球了。

    What was the hardest thing about coming to the NBA at 18?
大哉問：啥事是進入ＮＢＡ後最難適應的？

   Being on my own. As a kid, other people are in your ear reminding you of
stuff, but now I had to do all that. At home, if I had an appointment or an
appearance, my parents would take me. And chores, stuff around the house, you
get lazy. Every couple of weeks, it would get to the point where it was
terrible. I'm a lot neater now, it's picked up.
對自己負責。我還是個小孩時，大家會在我耳邊提醒東提醒西。但是現在，我必須一切自
己來。住家裡時，我如果有約會或是演出時，我的父母會提醒我。如果是以前，家裡一堆
家事和雜務，我會懶的去做，所以每兩個禮拜你就會發現家裡亂糟糟。但現在我是個愛乾
淨的人了，我會隨時整理。
