Bodog Nation: On to the Western Conference Finals between the San Antonio
Spurs and Utah Jazz. While many feel the Suns were the better team it seems
like the Jazz could cause more problems. What do you think of the matchup?
Greg Anthony: I think it could be very competitive. Granted I think San
Antonio is a better team, but I think the type of style that Utah plays and
the strengths that they have can create problems for the San Antonio Spurs.
I think Mehmet Okur, Andrei Kirilenko, and Carlos Boozer can all be more
effective as the series progresses and Salt Lake is a more difficult place to
play in than Phoenix. And I don't think that Phoenix is that much better of a
basketball team than Utah in a seven-game series because you also have to
factor in Jerry Sloan, who is a great coach.
Utah is a very good basketball team and each series they win gives them more
confidence and that’s why I think they can do well in the Conference Finals.
