Jazz Sign Free Agent Ronnie Price 

SALT LAKE CITY (July 26, 2007) - Utah Jazz senior vice president of basketball
operations, Kevin O'Connor, announced today that the team has agreed to terms
with free agent guard Ronnie Price, pending a physical. Per team policy, terms
of the contract were not released.

Price (6-2, 190, Utah Valley State) appeared in 87 games over two seasons with
Sacramento, averaging 2.9 points, 1.0 rebound and 0.7 assists in 8.2minutes
per game. Price played in 58 games (one start) for the Kings in 2006-07, and
averaged 3.3 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 9.7 minutes per game. He
scored a career-high 16 points vs. the Jazz on November 22, 2006, one of seven
double-digit scoring performances by Price this past season.

Now 24 years old, Price was originally signed by the Kings as undrafted free
agent following the 2005 NBA Draft. Price averaged 19.7 points, 3.9 rebounds
and 2.7 assists in 89 career games (all starts) at Utah Valley State College.
As a senior, he averaged 24.3 points per game as UVSC played its first yearof
Division I basketball. When he joined the Kings, he became the first player
in NBA history to enter the NBA directly from UVSC, and only the second UVSC
alumnus to make the NBA, joining Travis Hansen.
