Shaq manages to get himself into size 32 shorts

LOS ANGELES -- Shaquille O'Neal, who proclaimed he didn't want
to wear "John Stockton shorts," squeezed -- barely -- into a pair
of Utah Jazz shorts Tuesday night in a pre-game gag.

說不想穿史塔克頓小短褲的偶妞公開試穿(硬塞進)猶他爵士的短褲......


O'Neal smiled while tugging the size 32 purple shorts onto his size
54 waist. Reporters laughed at the ridiculous result: the 7-foot-1
O'Neal stuffed into too-tight, too-short shorts. He couldn't get the
waistband over his hips.

偶妞用力將32號猶他紫短褲穿到他54號的腰圍裡...褲腰帶到不了他的大屁屁。
(編者：其他的報導中提到偶妞把小褲褲撐爆了！就像他對待籃框那樣！)

"Are these better, Stern?" he said, invoking the name of NBA
commissioner David Stern.

史藤...這樣很好嗎？

O'Neal was among nine players, including Lakers teammate Kobe
Bryant, who were fined $5,000 each recently by the league for
wearing their shorts too low during games.

因為聯盟企圖對球褲太長的球員開罰......

At the time, an amused O'Neal said he didn't want to wear "John
Stockton shorts," referring to the 39-year-old Utah guard who
prefers his shorts a lot shorter and tighter than most of the
younger players.

因此偶妞借題(史短褲)發揮......

O'Neal claimed Stockton sent him the shorts; a Lakers spokesman
said someone on Utah's staff did.

偶妞堅稱這短褲是史塔克頓送他的，
(據說史塔克頓否認這段情)
實則是爵士隊工作人員所為。
