土製炸彈大爆破 丹佛金塊沈鹽湖

After colliding with Mehmet Okur in the first quarter, Denver's Kenyon Martin
left Saturday's game against the Jazz with a mild concussion and never
returned because of nausea and headaches.
第一節便黯然退場的馬丁萬萬想不到，
只不過是跟胖虎小小擦撞了一下，
竟然也能搞到自己輕微腦震盪，
又是作噁又是頭痛。(歐三丰以柔克剛？！)
By the end of the night his teammates were probably feeling a little sick
too, thanks to the Jazz and their 132-105 win Saturday at EnergySolutions
Arena.
不過當晚在能源解決球場的其他隊友大概也很能感同身受，
因為怎麼投怎麼進的爵士顯然把他們給打傻了。
最終金塊以廿七分之差慘敗給爵士。
Denver came to town needing a win to stay within range of Utah in the
Northwest Division and to improve its playoff chances. But instead of a big
showdown, the Nuggets were squashed like a bunch of grapes in a wine vat by
Utah's heavy offense.
金塊此來原本期待能縮小兩隊勝差，並且爭取進季後賽的機會，
只是2266的表現讓他們看起來比較像是橡木桶裡被狂戳猛搗的葡萄。
"We didn't know we would come out and win by 30," said guard Deron Williams,
who had 14 points and 16 assists.
「贏金塊快三十分？根本是在騙人嘛...」

It's doubtful many imagined that is how the game would play out for the Jazz,
who now have a four-game lead on the Nuggets. In the first half, Denver
simply couldn't stop Utah's offense, which wound up shooting shot 50-for-83
from the field and 11-for-15 from three-point distance for the game. By the
second half, the Nuggets looked like a team that had given up and was ready
to move on.
唬人不償命的爵士藉由這場勝利把對金塊的勝差拉開到四場，

"We didn't have any juice," Denver coach George Karl said. "We didn't have
any energy. We've had two emotional games and played very well, and I think
we came out a little emotionally flat."

Taken alone, Saturday's win was impressive for the Jazz, even if the Nuggets
were tired after their late game against San Antonio on Friday. But the
decisive victory looked even better in the context of Utah's play for the
week, with wins over Dallas, Minnesota and Friday's thriller in Phoenix.
雖然前一晚與馬刺激戰可能是導致金塊球員氣力放盡的主因，
但爵士能夠拿下這場關鍵勝利依然值得驕傲，
特別是在這週連戰小牛灰狼，昨晚又在鳳凰城死裡逃生之後。
"Everybody is feeling great right now," said forward Carlos Boozer, who
posted 23 points and 11 rebounds in 30 minutes. "We were playing great
against the Suns. . . . We just want to keep riding this roller coaster and
keep playing well."

Utah's point total was one shy of tying the season high they tallied in a
133-110 November win over Golden State.

After falling behind in the second quarter, the Nuggets never got any closer
than 23 points in the second half. Such a big margin made it an easy night
for Utah's starters. Boozer and Ronnie Brewer didn't play in the fourth,
while Okur logged the most minutes at 36.
金塊從第二節開始落後，到了下半場差距更持續被拉開至廿三分以上，
大弧度的領先使爵士的先發球員們可以安心地坐在場邊翹二郎腿，

Okur led the Jazz with 27 points and 11 rebounds on 9-for-11 shooting,
including 6-for-7 from three-point distance.
土耳其大個兒攻下全隊最高的廿七分，外加十一個籃板，
今晚十一投九中的他，七顆三分球只有一顆沒能入網。
The game was the latest of several good ones for Utah's center. Okur entered
the game averaging 13.7 points and shooting 43.4 percent for the season, but
in the last five, he averaged 20 points and shot 50.7 percent.
不過他可不是只有這場打得好，
雖然之前平均僅有13.7分及43.4%的命中率，
但近五場可是爆量上揚至20分及50.7%的命中率。
"The last five games he has been phenomenal shooting," Boozer said. "he has
been shooting great. He has more confidence in his jump shot, and that is a
huge lift. We haven't gotten that production all season and to have it now
when it counts is big for us."

The Nuggets were within six points of the Jazz in the second quarter when
Kyle Korver took a pass from Paul Millsap and drained a three-pointer.
第二節金塊原本只落後六分，
然而局面卻在爵士的新好男孩投進一顆三分後開始失控。
That basket marked the start of a scoring onslaught in the quarter for the
Jazz as they made six of seven three-pointers, shot 15-for-21 and outscored
the Nuggets 43-28 in the Mehmet Okur s hot streak period.
被引爆的土(耳其)製炸彈威力驚人，
爵士這節命中率不僅突破七成，還投進六顆三分球，
最後單節拿下四十三分，得不到三十分的金塊只能望球興嘆。
By halftime, the Jazz led 77-54, tying the season best for points in a
quarter they set in February against Golden State and eliminating any
thoughts their home winning streak would end at the hands of the Nuggets.
中場時爵士就已經以77-54遙遙領先，
並且追平本季單節得分紀錄(註：好像也是半場紀錄？)，
顯然爵士主場破功的戲碼還不到上演的時候。
As a team, the Jazz finished with eight three-pointers in the first half
which tied the franchise record. Utah made eight in both games against New
Orleans on Nov. 23 and Feb. 4.
爵士上半場投進平紀錄的八顆三分球，
前兩次的苦主都是黃蜂，十一月與二月各一次。
While Korver started Utah's three-point barrage, Okur took over, making his
first six three-pointers. His sixth gave Utah a 95-58 lead, its biggest
margin of the night, with 6:09 remaining in the third.

"I've never seen Utah shoot the ball as well as they are shooting the ball
right now," Karl said. "The combination of their ability to make shots on the
perimeter and Deron Williams running their offense, it's a pretty impressive
sight."
