EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - The Jazz were clinging to a four-point lead with two
minutes left in Saturday night's game when Richard Jefferson drove the lane
for New Jersey and Carlos Boozer slapped him hard enough to draw a technical
foul.
終場前兩分鐘，爵士原本還保有四分領先，
籃網的傑佛遜試圖切入，忙亂之中布瑟拍了他一下，
結果這個兇狠的動作被判了個技術犯規。
"I just didn't want to give him nothing easy," Boozer said.

It wound up being a momentum-changing play for the Nets, as Jefferson sank
two of three free throws. The explanation Boozer received from referee
Derrick Collins was that Deron Williams already had fouled Jefferson and his
slap came after the whistle.

Boozer didn't deny that he fouled Jefferson, but said he didn't hear a
whistle on the play. Williams spoke up from the next locker to say he had
made a clean steal.

The Nets threatened to run the Jazz out of the game in the first quarter,
when Devin Harris served up three alley-oop dunks on the fast break. Jazz
coach Jerry Sloan said there was a lesson for his team, which was playing its
fourth game in five nights.
第一節籃網把爵士打得潰不成軍，
哈里斯還遞出了三次漂亮的空中接力扣籃。
雖然這是爵士在五天內進行的第四場客場比賽，
但龍哥說球隊應該要學到不能拿疲憊當作輸球的理由。
"This is the thing: We have to learn that it doesn't make any difference what
happened yesterday," said Sloan, whose team was coming off Friday's victory
over Boston.

"You've got to come with a full deck to start with today.

"If you want to be tired or act like you're tired or whatever, then you're
probably not going to do much. And I thought we started off that way. We
started off tired."

Miles/Kirilenko
左右為難
With Andrei Kirilenko in foul trouble and Matt Harpring struggling, Sloan
turned to C.J. Miles with the Jazz down by 10 in the first quarter. Miles
provided a lift, scoring eight points with two steals in 12 minutes, even
hitting a jumper over 6-foot-10 Josh Boone.
由於ΑΚ的犯規麻煩，小哈也狀況欠佳，
龍哥在第一節落後十分時決定改派西街上場，
西街也不負所託，十二分鐘內就拿下八分兩抄截。
Miles had played just 57 seconds in the three previous games on the Jazz's
trip. Sloan went back to Kirilenko in the second half but questioned that
decision afterward.

這樣的決定現在看起來不免有所爭議。
"I debated on whether or not to go back with [Miles]," Sloan said, "but I
went with the guys that kind of we've been there with. Probably, maybe wish
I'd have gone with C.J."

「不過最後我選擇用比較熟悉的陣容，現在看來也許是我錯了。」

Beginning with Monday against Toronto, the Jazz will play eight of their next
nine games at EnergySolutions Arena, where they have won 18 in a row.

Williams voiced support for Kyle Korver after Korver missed two
three-pointers in the final minute. "We'll take him shooting that shot at the
end of the game 10 more times," Williams said.
小胖為昨晚最後連續兩顆三分失手的ΚΚ抱不平：
「在這種緊要關頭，不管幾次我都會選擇傳給他出手。」
Williams rested for just 2:01 in the second half and spent a total of 304
seconds on the bench in the second half of the four games on this trip.
操人小胖昨晚下半場僅休息了兩分鐘，
事實上這波客場四連戰的下半場他總計也才休息了304秒。
The Nets had six players on their roster who were not with the team when it
lost to the Jazz in Utah in November.
籃網這次的陣容跟上次輸給爵士那次相比，
已經有六個人不在隊上了。
