Jazz: Williams still not 100 percent
蝶龍仍然不在最佳狀態

The box score wouldn't have suggested it, as Deron Williams finished with 15
points and 15 assists and played 38 minutes in Saturday's loss to Phoenix,
but the scene in the locker room afterward served as a reminder.

A week-and-a-half after his return from a sprained left ankle, Williams
still was walking with a limp after the game. He was able to play through a
grueling stretch of four games in five nights, but Williams still is not 100
percent.

從左腳踝扭傷回歸一週半以來，蝶龍在賽後走路總是一跛一跛的。

"It's been tough," Williams said. "It'd be tough anytime, but just coming
back and having so many back-to-backs has definitely [taken] its toll. But

The 38 minutes Williams played Saturday were his most in seven games
since returning. Jazz coach Jerry Sloan said Friday that Williams still was
figuring out things after the first significant injury of his NBA career.

Williams has shown glimpses of his former self, whether it was spinning

Portland, Paul Millsap likely will return to the bench, despite averaging
17.1 points and 10.9 points in nine starts with Boozer out with a strained
quadriceps tendon.

Sloan will celebrate his 20th anniversary of taking over as Jazz coach
with Tuesday's game. There have been 222 coaching changes around the league
in that time and Sloan has coached 123 players with the Jazz. He is the
longest-tenured coach in major professional sports and has a record of
1,008-605 with Utah.

Amare Stoudemire finished with 22 points and 20 rebounds Saturday,
becoming the first Jazz opponent to post a 20/20 game since Dallas' Chris
Gatling (23 points, 20 rebounds) did so Nov. 16, 1996.

Sloan, however, was upset that Kosta Koufos was called for a foul

hard to stomach."

The Jazz had no update Sunday on Brevin Knight, who was hospitalized
overnight in Phoenix for observation after he was hit in the windpipe in the
first quarter. Knight was expected to return to Salt Lake City on Sunday.

Knight update
即時更新


After he was hospitalized overnight for observation in Phoenix, Brevin Knight
was released Sunday and returned to Salt Lake City. Knight was taken to the
hospital after he was hit in the windpipe in the first quarter Saturday.

在鳳凰城過夜觀察後，
暗騎在禮拜天回到了鹽湖城

Test results Sunday were normal except for some swelling. Knight will be
a game-time decision Tuesday.

禮拜天的檢查除了還有點腫之外一切正常。
