BREWER ABSENT: The Jazz practiced Tuesday without starting shooting guard
Ronnie Brewer, who has been ill the last several days.

釀酒人生病了，練習缺席

Brewer briefly exited victories last Friday vs. Dallas and Monday against
Philadelphia but hasn't missed a game while he's been sick.

小酒儘管生病還是沒缺席對小牛和七六人的比賽

His reason for refusing to take a break: "Like Coach (Jerry Sloan) said, 'too
far from your heart to just sit out,"' Brewer said after scoring eight points
against the 76ers.

The University of Arkansas product is expected to travel and play when the

Millsap, Collins practice
米爺、科科參與練習啦！

I just left Jazz practice this morning and wanted to pass along a quick
update.

Carlos Boozer, of course, won't play on Friday night against the Lakers. He
is scheduled for arthroscopic knee surgery next week.

There is some better news for the Jazz regarding Paul Millsap and Jarron
Collins.

Millsap, who missed the last three games because of a sprained knee ligament,
participated in practice and expects to play against the Lakers. He will have
to wear a brace but does not believe it be much of a bother.

由於膝蓋韌帶扭傷，讓米爺缺席了三場比賽
不過他現在已經開始參與練習，預計會在對湖人的比賽歸隊。
他會穿著保護膝蓋的支架上陣，這應該不會影響他在場上的表現。

Collins has missed six weeks with a sore elbow but also participated in
practice -- his first contact work since being sidelined. Barring a setback,
he will be available against the Lakers.

科科由於手肘的問題缺席了六個禮拜，
但是同樣也開始參與練習了 ─ 這是他在受傷以來第一次有肢體接觸的訓練
除非舊傷復發，否則他將會在對湖人的比賽中歸隊。

"It's a sad thing to hear," Millsap said of Boozer's pending surgery, "but
we've just got to try to hold it down until he gets back."

Jazz coach Jerry Sloan suggested today that even with Boozer out long-term
the team will in no way rush back Millsap, who likely will be re-inserted
into the starting lineup — sending usual sixth man Andrei Kirilenko back to
the bench — whenever he does return.

"Whenever he's ready to play," Sloan said, "that's when he's ready to play."

Millsap, though, indicated he had a strong workout Wednesday, and that he
hopes to be able go Friday.

The Jazz announced last Friday that he would be out 7-to-10 more days, and
that fits into the shorter end of the timetable.

Millsap suggested the joint is mostly pain-free now, but he also confirmed
he'll have to wear a brace when he initially plays again.

米爺說他的傷勢已經大致無礙，但他也很確定他會在歸隊的第一場比賽帶著支架上陣。

"I worked out the last few days," Millsap said, "and it felt pretty good.

"The brace is absolutely helping it out a lot," he added. "So, right now I'm
just trying to work on getting my conditioning back, my wind back."

NOTE: Starting shooting guard Ronnie Brewer missed practice last Tuesday
because he was sick, but Brewer was back at work this morning.
