標題[外電] 以為贏了湖人和超賽就能拿到冠軍嗎??太天真了

If you're like me, even with the Jazz's recent success,
you're a bit suspicious — maybe even to the point of cynicism. I don't
actually consider myself a cynic. Cynics are people who, when you say,
"I like your hat" they respond, "Are you being sarcastic?
你是不是覺得最近阿爵走了好狗運??可以贏了東西2區的領先者??
At the same time, I'm having a hard time buying what the Jazz are selling
these days: that we should take them all that seriously, even after Thursday
night's win over Boston. That's because they play well only on certain
occasions, and usually that occasion involves a top-level opponent and/or a
nationally televised game.
只是我很遺憾的要和各位阿爵迷們說..如果你以為這樣就可以前進到總冠軍戰.那就太天
真了...縱使在昨天阿爵僥倖贏了上一季冠軍..避免在全美觀眾前面丟了鄉親父老的臉
So naturally, when the Jazz beat the Lakers just before the All-Star break, at
first I was thinking, "Hmmm, looks like they can beat the best. Maybe they will
get in the playoffs and do some damage."
就在明星賽前擊敗了湖人,這一個美麗的幻覺讓老夫頓時有錯誤的感覺
"看來這一隻嫩逼隊伍可以擊敗任何隊伍...並且能對於季後賽帶來些衝擊呀"

But by the time the Jazz had defeated the Celtics, Thursday night, I got
thinking about it.As much as I hate coaching cliches, I was forced to agree
with Jerry Sloan, that they all count as one.
就在昨天那難看的球賽之後,老夫向來不喜歡陳腔爛調,但不得不同意教皇的一些觀點了"
就讓老夫一一數落出來吧
Just to make sure, I went back and counted again, and sure enough, the wins
over L.A. and Boston counted the same in the standings as a win would have
counted over Oklahoma City on Jan 14, or Golden State on Feb. 8, or New Jersey
on Nov. 29, or Charlotte on Nov. 14, or Washington on Nov. 12.
在老夫開始翻舊帳之前,讓我們確認一下這一隻嫩隊確實是擊敗過湖人以及超賽,
就像在1/14被六神合體雷霆王狂電21分,在2/8被新一代狂徒電20分,在10/29被傳說中的
大空易領軍的籃網電17分,在10/14...被強隊證明山喵隊贏8分,更好笑的是.眾阿爵在10/12
日終於當了好人,讓0號探員的巫師隊開胡了
It's good to be great on certain days, but it's better to be consistent, just like it's
good to jog 10 miles, but better to run two miles five different days.
The Jazz polished off their two-game run against the NBA's best teams, Thursday night,
by beating the Celtics 90-85. Combined with their Feb. 11 win over the Lakers,
that makes for some nice momentum. Good for them. Maybe they should put on some
bright yellow celebration pants right now and call it a season. Were they good?
Depends on when you were looking. They shot 20 percent for most of the first
half.

縱使贏了2隻暫居東西區領先的球隊,或許值得阿爵球迷以跳碧潭來慶祝..如果不提那個
對上超賽丟人的命中率(20%)..你真的以為這一隻球隊是個頂尖隊伍..
Did they look like they could beat any team on the planet?
Not really.
They just looked like they could beat a team missing its best player all of
the second half.Besides, it was on national TV, where they're now 4-0.
你真的以為他們可以擊敗任何一隻隊伍嗎??哼哼...我看連台灣的娘炮聯盟這一隻嫩隊都
贏不了了...還想拿AK來換"置潔"???
就只會趁別人家裡沒有大人的時候,才會贏球而已...此外..在全美聯播的情形之下..
嫩爵的戰蹟可是是4勝0敗的紀錄呢~~~^.<

That's the thing about the Jazz — they know how to present themselves. Give
them time to put on their makeup and they're pretty darn impressive. In that
way, they're a lot like the rest of us. They clean up pretty nicely when
necessary, but other times, when nobody's looking, they're plain old sloppy.
如果有全美聯播的話,這一隻美國的娘炮球隊,會開始找造型師為這些娘子軍梳妝打扮,
好讓全美觀眾看的到他們是如何的讓全美少女瘋狂尖叫,但如果只是地方轉播的話,他們
只是群會被人家在後面喊"停播黑棒 還我南方" 棒棒糖男孩罷了
To their credit, they've kept themselves in playoff contention despite 146
player-games missed due to illness/injury/personal leave.
At the same time, you have to ask: What are they THINKING?
Take, for instance, the aforementioned game against Oklahoma City, a 21-point
loss. Same Oklahoma City that has won all of 13 games all season... Likewise,
the Nov. 12 loss to Washington, a 12-win team, and Charlotte, a 22-win team,
and Golden State, a 19-win team.

When you think about it, the Jazz beating Boston or L.A. doesn't mean a heck
of a lot more than it does when Washington beats the Jazz.
It's the every night stuff that counts.
This is where it gets tricky. That's because even though Deron Williams, Matt
Harpring and Paul Millsap seem ready to play almost every night, you can't
say the same about everyone.
或許阿爵可以在今後把他們曾在這一季擊敗過湖人拿出來說嘴..但巫師球迷也可以這樣做
說來真是可笑,小胖 老哈 米爺他們在每一個晚上都燃燒自己的小宇宙,但並不是每一個人
都想要一起使出"雅典娜的嘆息"的
Like puppy love and daydreams, the rest of them come and go.
It's hard to say when Carlos Boozer is ready to play because he's often not,
well, ready to play.
Thus, on Thursday, the Jazz continued their redemption tour, trying to convince
anyone and everyone they're that good. They got help when Boston's Kevin Garnett
went out with 1:08 left in the half with a strained knee.
As for me, I'll take them deadly serious if they keep winning these types of
games.
And providing they beat Minnesota, Sacramento, Golden State, Toronto, New York
and the Clippers on their way out.
就像是那種永遠都不會有人想起初戀對象的樣子,那些"我來了..我走了..打我呀..笨蛋"
的人..又有誰還會記得"典型在夙昔"
我絕對不是在說那一個永遠都在放話他要復出打球的那一位喔~~~^.<
就在真男人扭傷了膝蓋的那個晚上,宅爵們證明了其實他們是一隻超強隊伍(???)
如果宅爵可以持續的贏像湖人或超賽這一類的隊伍..並且可以在客場能贏灰狼 國王
勇士 暴龍 尼克 快艇 這些後段班隊伍....
那時候老夫再確認....他們是不是可以拿的到總冠軍
就在我們歡天喜地的慶祝之時....我倒是覺得Brad Rock這篇文章有當頭棒喝的效果
我實在很難翻譯出大尾那種很靠北的感覺....大家加減看吧
